RUKKUS

college rock — RUKKUS has been together in some form or another since 1996 and are still going strong and just as popuplar now as ever. RUKKUS has a CD entitled "short" with 3 or 4 of the songs played at each gig along with modern day rock favorites. As happens in bands members change and the current line up is slightly different from the CD, this lineup is very strong. Eric Ross is one of the original members and is the bands frontman, running around the venue with his wireless mic and generally working the crowd into a frenzy. Scott Thompson is the other founding member and plays accoustic and rythym guitar and spews out silly comments on the mic occasionally. Brian Gafford is the guitar wizard of the band so he got the lead guitar role. If he walks up to your table, grab your drinks cause he is going to get on it and blast a lead out for ya. John Martin lays down the beat on the drums. John actually prefers a little heavier music but loves the great crowds and fans that RUKKUS has. The newest member of RUKKUS is the Bass player, Jane Rhodes. Jane is a classically trained musician but enjoys playing bass and she also is a very talented singer and sings a few songs as well. RUKKUS has been fortunate enough over the years to share the stage with some national acts such as Jackyl, Slaughter, American dog, Seven sharp nine, and Most recently Loverboy. Rukkus is a very experienced band and very entertaining and are masters at keeping a crowd around.
