Kentucky Backroads Band

Rock, Country, Southern Rock — Nathan: Acoustic guitar and vocals I have been playing music since I was 13 years old. I've played with other bands such as Fly by Night, Country Renegades and Midnight Express. I've also played with Hank and Beulah Bayou on several occasions. My other passion in music is writing songs, 2 of which you can hear in their entirety by going on the song page of this website: Dark & Dusty Road and Dreams are Made to Shatter. You can also hear a small clip of Barrooms in Heaven. I love to perform in front of a live audience. Without the support of a loving family, my musical career would have ended a long time ago... David: Electric guitar and vocals I've been in the music biz (off and on) for over 30 years. I grew up in Morehead, KY and was fortunate to be exposed to a wide variety of music. I've played solo, duo and in bands that performed everything from bluegrass to hard rock. I've had the pleasure of playing in the basement of a church in D.C., a flatbed trailer in Jackson, KY, Weatherby Gymnasium at MSU, the Carl Perkins Center in Morehead, the backseat of a Greyhound bus...well, you get the idea. Really enjoy jamming with the KBB! Doug Lead Guitar I was born and raised in Morehead Ky where I still reside. I've played with other bands such as Fly by Night, Midnight Express and others. I am a perfectionist when it comes to my lead playing. I feel that playing lead is just as important as the lead vocals, because lead breaks are a continued part of the song's melody. I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend and playing music with a great bunch of guys "The Kentucky BackRoads Band". Bernard; Bass guitar I grew up in Kentucky (Olive Hill). I've been playing music for about 30 years. I played with many different bands, such as Southern Rail, 30.06 and many others. I enjoy fishing, but music has been my best friend and has gotten me through some tough times. I started with the band as a fill-in, but we played so well together I just stayed and have enjoyed playing music with these seriously defective guys of "The Kentucky BackRoads Band"
